My name is Tomas Herceg, I live in Prague, Czech Republic, and since 2011, I am running a software company called RIGANTI focused on custom software development, consulting and solution architecture services.

I am a founder of DotVVM DotVVM, an open-source framework which simplifies creating line of business web applications and makes it easier for any .NET developer.

I was awarded with Microsoft Most Valuable Professional and Microsoft Regional Director for my influence in technical communities, public speaking and publishing of technical articles. You can meet me at various tech events in the Czech Republic and other countries, speaking about web development, .NET Framework, software architecture, cloud and related topics.

I spend a lot of time helping other companies with difficult technical decisions, such as cloud migration, microservices architecture, Domain Driven Design, modernizing of legacy applications or choosing the right technologies and approaches.

I am also co-founder of the Czech largest website focused on .NET development DotNetPortal, where I published many articles for beginner and advanced developers. I have also co-founded DotNetCollege, a company providing lectures and courses to web and .NET developers and organizes various community events.

For several years, I was one of the organizers of MS Fest a successful community conference with about 700 attendees that was running for 10 years. Currently, I am co-founder of Update Conference Prague, the largest .NET conference in the Czech Republic featuring 42 sessions led by famous speakers, and I also co-organize smaller technical conferences called Update Days.
